At Trails West Magazine, our mission is to inform and delight our readers through captivating written narratives, authentic photography, and concise documentaries highlighting travel hotspots, local assets, and thrilling adventure locales. While our roots trace back to 2020 as Nebraska West Magazine, our horizons have expanded in 2023, transcending the boundaries of western Nebraska to delve into fresh, diverse subjects.

 

History

Trails West Magazine emerges from the evolution of previous online platforms, namely WyoBraska Magazine and Nebraska West (.com). Initially conceived by Long Draw Productions, LLC, WyoBraska Magazine functioned as a dynamic tourism-focused publication endorsed by Scotts Bluff County, Nebraska, to spotlight the charms of the North Platte Valley and stretches of eastern Wyoming. However, an unforeseen contract breach by a county commissioner left Long Draw Productions grappling with a plethora of abandoned content, encompassing articles, visuals, and video productions.

In response, Nebraska West (.com) came into being as a reimagined and progressive iteration of WyoBraska Magazine. Building upon this foundation, Trails West Magazine emerged in 2023 as a revitalized manifestation of Nebraska West (.com), broadening its scope beyond the confines of western Nebraska. This rejuvenated entity now embraces a comprehensive exploration of travel destinations, local resources, and adventurous havens spanning the expanse of the Western United States.

 

48-Hours Trails West

In April 2023, Trails West Magazine introduced the captivating 48-Hour Trails West Series, a dynamic Docuseries accessible across multiple video platforms, including YouTube, Vimeo, and Dailymotion. This engaging series embarks on a journey through the American west, retracing the historic immigrant trails that span from western Nebraska to the majestic Pacific coastline.

Each episode of the series is a treasure trove of practical and enjoyable insights, encompassing details about dining, accommodations, attractions, ambient sounds, recreational pursuits, and leisure activities. All of this is thoughtfully covered within a concise 48-hour timeframe, focusing on a distinct locale in each installment.
